The first special version is called ID. Buzz Light Side Edition and, as the name implies, symbolizes the “Light Side”, imitating the protagonist of the series – Kenobi. This is purely a passenger van, covered with adhesive film, but one part of it (beige) is designed to resemble Obi-Wan Kenobi’s tunic, and the second (top) is spaceships and droids from the Star Wars universe. By the same logic, the glass and blue optics refer to the lightsabers of the Jedi.

The second special version, dedicated to the “Dark Side” and Darth Vader, was called ID. Buzz Dark Side Edition . Here, the basis was no longer a passenger minivan, but a cargo van, and its design is completely opposite – in black and red, and red should symbolize Darth Vader’s lightsaber.

Volkswagen does not plan to sell Star Wars-style electric vans even for big money, and you can see them live at the Star Wars Celebration festival, which will be held in Anaheim (USA) from May 26 to 29.
