In 2023, sales of the new compact hatchback Volkswagen Polo Track will begin, which will be produced in Brazil

Volkswagen has published the first teasers of the Polo Track model for South America, which will replace the budget car Gol next year. The novelty will be a cheap version of the European Polo model.

The Polo Track compact hatchback will differ from the standard Polo in some external elements, including optics with simplified graphics, an enlarged grille and a different bumper.

As for the technical part, the Volkswagen Polo Track will be created on a cheaper version of the MQB modular platform, which provides for a smaller number of different electronic systems compared to the European Polo. According to preliminary data, the engine line of the small hatchback will include a 1.0-liter three-cylinder turbo engine capable of running on both gasoline and ethanol.

The release of the new Volkswagen Polo Track will be launched in Brazil in 2023. Other details about the model will be announced later.
