The track “Bystrytsia” in April on the toll roads in Russia will increase the speed

The limit will change on several sections of highways which are in trust management of the state company “Avtodor”.

On some sections of toll routes is now you can accelerate to 130 km/h – there is a corresponding road signs. Soon the number of such roads will increase. This will allow motorists to get to the destination.

So, on the highway M-11 “Neva”, one of the areas the speed limit will increase to 130 km/h in the second quarter of 2020. We are talking about a segment of highway 58 kilometers to the toll gate at the entrance to St. Petersburg. Recall, this track was officially completed in late 2019. However, recently it became known about plans to build a new station. It is expected that it will pass in the Tver region and will be the bypass of Tver on the North side. The length of this segment will account for more than 62 km. Works on preparation of the project was estimated at 468 million rubles. Construction tentatively will begin in late 2021-th – the beginning of 2022.

Now on the highway M-11 limitation of 130 km/h acts on the bypass Vyshniy Volochek in the Tver region. And the area from 15 to 58 km maximum allowed speed is 110 km/h.

In addition to the maximum in Russia, 130 km/h motorists in April this year, will be able to accelerate on the stretch of highway M-4 “don” in the area of Novaya Usman (Voronezh region). As noted in the company, last year on this segment during winter reduced the speed limit to 110 km/h.

It is also planned to increase and on a segment of the toll highway M-1 “Belarus”, however, only up to 110 km/h (from the current 90 km/h). This section runs from 33 to 45 km. to Change the speed limit planned for next month.

We will remind, toll roads in Russia are in trust management of the state company “Avtodor”. In addition to these, one of them is also part of highway M-3 “Ukraine”. In the near future the list should also include the Central ring road (Central ring road), and in the future also M-12 – a highway that will run from Moscow to Kazan. Meanwhile, earlier this year it became known that the authorities have decided to struggle with “hares” on toll roads. We are talking about how to introduce fines for motorists who use these roads, but do not pay the fare. For them is proposed to introduce fines: “ticketless” owners of cars want to oblige to pay 2,5 thousand rubles, and trucks and buses – 5,5 thousand rubles.

It is assumed that if the fines do enter, the traditional toll booths with barriers everywhere will replace the system free-flow. When driving such items drivers to stay do not need the money from their accounts will be debited automatically (with the help of traffic cameras and contactless transponders).
