Nissan has unveiled a special version of the next-generation Pathfinder crossover called “Rock Creek”. The premiere of the car, adapted to off-road driving, will take place on April 15 at the New York International Auto Show.
The large crossover received an upgraded suspension with 16 mm more ground clearance and 18-inch wheels with off-road tires. Standard equipment included LED fog lights, and a steel roof rack appeared on the roof to carry additional cargo weighing up to 100 kg. In addition, the car was equipped with a tow bar for towing trailers weighing up to 2700 kg.
In the interior design, a combined fabric and leather trim with orange stitching was used, and on the second row, instead of a solid sofa, separate “captain’s” chairs were installed.
The output of the 3.5-liter naturally aspirated V6 engine, thanks to the modernization of the fuel system, was increased from 288 hp. and 351 Nm of torque up to 299 forces and 366 Newton meters. The engine works together with a nine-speed manual transmission and an all-wheel drive system.
In the US, sales of the Nissan Pathfinder crossovers by Rock Creek will begin in the summer of 2022. Prices for cars have not yet been named.
