Top 20 most popular automotive companies in the Russian Federation (2016)
The Association of European businesses (AEB) monthly list of the most popular car brands in the Russian Federation. The list shows the automotive brand and the dynamics of their sales for the nine-month period from January to September 2016.
Lada sold 190 thousand cars
The market share of the brand in Russia: 18.6%
Predictable high results showed the largest domestic car company Lada. Despite the negative trend for the first 9 months of this year, -7%, the market share of AVTOVAZ remains high, 18.6%.
KIA sold 106 thousand cars
The market share of the brand in Russia: 10.5%
Second place is the Kia standard. Cars of this brand for the first ten months were sold 106.000 units, accounting for 10.5% of the total market share. Negative dynamics of sales remains at 11% in comparison with 2015.
Hyundai sold 101 thousand cars

Renault sold 80 thousand cars

Toyota sold 68 thousand cars
