RUF Rodeo: similar to Porsche 911 all-wheel drive crossover with a lasso and a shovel
The German company RUF Automobile GmbH, a business of deep tuning of Porsche cars and producing their own supercar based on classic Porsche 911 presented a new model Rodeo with four-wheel drive and eccentric paraphernalia in the style of the Wild West.
In the world of tuning firm RUF deserved respect, but now she is more actively positioning itself as an independent automaker, Porsche has a very indirect relationship. In 2017, the RUF presented their first model with all original body: coupe based on CTR, only superficially resembling the classic Porsche 911, lies a monocoque carbon fiber (photo below) with bolted thereto metal subframes for attachment to the power unit and suspension. Boxer 3.6-liter biturbomotor (710 HP, 880 Nm) based on the unit Porsche, but all internal and external components are designed from scratch, as well as a 6-speed manual transmission. Suspension – double wishbone circle with horizontal dampers.
In 2018, debuted coupe debuted coupe RUF SCR on the same chassis, but with atmospheric 4.0-liter oppozitnik (510 HP, 470 Nm), and Rodeo – the further development of its own model line: all-wheel drive crossover coupe with atmospheric or supercharged motor.
Rodeo initially planned to show at the Geneva motor show, but the exhibition was canceled because of the coronavirus, and the presentation was held later on Facebook that the virus is not yet the terrible: short videos recorded personally by Alois RUF, founder of the company, and his wife Estonia RUF.

The main feature Rodeo in some kind of own the all-wheel drive: the driver with a large screw on the center tunnel can manually adjust the torque distribution between the axles. The ground clearance is slightly increased, the suspension retuned for a drive on gravel roads – it has a kind of rally car for every day on which it is possible to go on a big adventure, which is bolted to the roof expedition roof rack.

Leather case of extra headlights, bumper screwed him lasso, leather straps on the hood and shovel aft – only exhibition tinsel in a Wild West-style, as well as the upholstery of chairs ornament Navajo. That is, until that RUF Rodeo is a concept car but the production version is clearly not around the corner, and car collectors are already rubbing their hands, wanting to get this expensive and obviously rare car. Circulation CTR and SCR – only a few dozen copies, and it is unlikely Rodeo will be more popular and the price could easily reach a million euros.
