The AutoHome edition has published the first photos of the restyled version of the BMW three-wheel drive, which is now being prepared for certification for the Chinese market. Judging by the pictures, the updated BMW 3 Series will receive a new grille, different bumpers and modified headlights.

Note that at the very end of March, BMW introduced the i3 model . Previously, under the name i3, the Germans produced a compact hatchback, but now this name has gone to an electric sedan designed specifically for the Chinese market. The new BMW i3 is powered by a single electric motor mounted on the rear axle. The engine has a peak output of 286 hp. and 400 Nm. The sedan is capable of accelerating from standstill to the first “hundred” in 6.2 seconds, and its maximum speed is 180 km/h. The engine is powered by a set of 70.3 kWh batteries, which allows you to drive 526 km on a single charge.

The interior of the BMW i3 features a wide digital display that combines a 12.3-inch virtual instrument cluster with a 14.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The number of mechanical buttons and analog switches is kept to a minimum – most of the car’s functions can be controlled using the multimedia screen.
