Nissan introduced a new sports car Z

The design of the 405-horsepower sports car received a retro look and strongly resembles the Z Proto concept.

Nissan unveiled a new sports car called the Z at a special event in New York . In the local market, car sales will start next spring. The prices for the car will be announced later. One of the car’s competitors will be the Toyota Supra.

The design of the car has received retro features and strongly resembles the Z Proto concept. The sports car was equipped with headlights of an unusual shape, rectangular air intakes, and a relief hood. The spoiler and lights are in the style of the 300ZX from the 90s. The car’s radiator grille is reminiscent of early Z models.

The cabin features sports seats, a three-spoke steering wheel, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a small multimedia touchscreen display and a traditional gear lever.

Nissan Z was equipped with a 3.0-liter V6 petrol engine with 405 hp. and 475 Nm of torque. The motor works in conjunction with a six-speed “mechanics” or a nine-speed “automatic” Jatco. The dynamic characteristics of the novelty are not named.

The car was equipped with an electric power steering and upgraded shock absorbers. Customers will be offered a choice of 18- or 19-inch wheels. In total, there are two equipment options for the car, Sport and Performance. Also for the new items prepared an optional Proto Spec package, which is available only for 240 cars. It includes: special wheels, yellow brake calipers and special seats upholstered in leather.
