Honda Passport 2019: something between a CR-V and Pilot

The new SUV from Honda: Passport for those CR-V are small, and a great Pilot.

Who said that the world became too much crossovers and SUVs? As they say, a lot of cars does not happen. While the planet goes boom crossovers and SUVs, many car companies are expanding their model line at the expense of new off-road car. No exception this year and the company is Honda, which introduced a new SUV Passport.

The new model will be sold in many countries at the beginning of 2019. Apparently, the new SUV will take place between the Honda CR-V and Honda Pilot. Honda Passport more and prohodili CR-V, as well as sportier and more compact than the bulky Honda Pilot.

This drive system gives the new SUV excellent handling in all conditions, such as rain, when the road is slippery or when driving on sandy surface. Including system is more flexible when swapping the torque with the rear wheels on the front.

The boot capacity of Honda Passport is 1166 liters. If you fold the rear seats (this is done by pressing a button), the volume of cargo space will be 2205 liters. If this amount is not enough, in the trunk under the floor there is still extra space of 70.8 litres.

The SUV received the 3.5-liter V6 engine that produces 283 HP with a maximum torque of 354 Nm, which is transmitted via a 9-speed automatic transmission coupled with all-wheel drive system.

Including every model of Honda Passport is equipped with a system of “Honda Sensing”, which includes such things as automatic emergency braking with hazard, warning about the danger of a collision when reversing, lane departure and adaptive cruise control. Also, the SUV can tow the trailer up to 2268 kg of cargo (all-wheel drive version).
