Genesis (Hyundai’s premium sub-brand) has unveiled a new coupe-like crossover called the GV60. This model became the first electric car in the history of the Korean company. According to the press service of the brand, the novelty will become “the sportiest Genesis to date.” At the same time, the Koreans have not yet disclosed the technical details of the car.

The car is built on the E-GMP (Electric-Global Modular Platform) platform. The same architecture is already used by the “green” Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Kia EV6 . GV60 is equipped with a wide radiator grille, “two-story” optics, embossed hood, spoiler, retractable door handles and a new logo.

Instead of traditional side mirrors, the crossover has special cameras with cameras that broadcast the image to mini-displays. In the interior of the electric car, a digital dashboard was installed, which is combined with the screen of the multimedia system. The main feature in the interior is a crystal hemisphere glowing in different colors, which replaces the usual gear selector.

According to Motor1 , the GV60 will be equipped with batteries with a capacity of up to 72.4 kWh, and a potential fast version like the EV6 GT with 580 horsepower is expected. According to unofficial data, the range of the crossover will be about 480 kilometers.
