Coronavirus penetrated into AVTOVAZ, but met strong resistance
While the European car factories in droves go to downtime in connection with the pandemic coronavirus COVID-19, Russian companies continue to operate in the normal mode. But the threat is near: at “AVTOVAZ” revealed the first infected employee.
At the time of our publication in Russia, officially registered 114 cases of infection with coronavirus, three of them – in Samara region, one of the three – member AVTOVAZ, which we reported leading news agencies. Little details: we know that it is simple work, and I contracted the disease from a loved one, who returned recently from Spain. “The administration of AVTOVAZ together with the specialists of Rospotrebnadzor and physicians have carefully analyzed all contacts of the ill, the result of which were identified staff who worked with him. Jobs brigade, where infected, recreational facilities and common areas, cloakrooms, toilets, showers and entrances have been carefully sanitized”.
In essence, the administration and the CPS did the same thing their colleagues in the European and American plants, which also detected infected COVID-19. It is encouraging that the panic in connection with this, such as what occurred in workers of a canadian factory (FCA employees from fear together we skip a day) in Tolyatti was not, and now the plant “continues to work as planned on schedule.”
It is unknown whether AVTOVAZ to a very likely full quarantine and shutdown of the conveyor in the European scenario, but it is known that the CPS has today demanded from the authorities of regions to test for the coronavirus of all the Russians, who returned in the last two weeks from Europe. Note that two weeks is the average incubation period of the disease, but there are much more durable cases for up to 37 days.
We will add that in continental Europe after the factories the work was stopped by the dealership showrooms, that is, new car sales discontinued (yet for two weeks, then – as lucky). Britain, which has lagged behind the mainland in terms of the spread COVID-19, appealed to his factories with a request to start production of the ventilator (artificial lung ventilation) in order to deal with their deficit, as it was in Italy, and to provide in the midst of an epidemic prompt assistance to all victims.
