The Chinese company XPeng Motors has begun European sales of the P5 electric sedan, which will compete with the Tesla Model 3. The cars have become available for order in Norway, Denmark, Sweden and the Netherlands, the press service of the automaker reports .

In the latter country, for example, XPeng P5 prices start at 48,000 euros. For comparison, Tesla Model 3 in the same place will cost at least 52 thousand euros.

The XPeng P5 electric sedan debuted in the middle of last year. The European version of the car, 4.8 meters long, is equipped with a single electric motor that develops 211 hp. and 310 Nm of torque. The sedan is capable of accelerating from standstill to “hundreds” in 7.5 seconds, and its top speed is forcibly limited to 170 km/h.

The engine is powered by a set of 66.2 kilowatt-hour batteries, which allow you to drive up to 465 km without recharging. When using a special fast system, it will take about 40 minutes to replenish the stock of batteries from 10 to 80%.

Inside, the electric sedan has a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel, a 15.6-inch touchscreen multimedia tablet. In addition, the electric car has a panoramic roof and leather-trimmed seats.

In addition, the electric car is equipped with a complex of various sensors and video cameras that provide semi-automatic control. The list of electronic systems includes adaptive cruise control, a lane change function, and an automatic parking attendant.
