The Chinese company WEY (the premium brand of the Great Wall concern) at the Chengdu Auto Show unveiled a new crossover called Fuguchaojia. The car is made in retro style – its design resembles cars of the 40s of the last century. For example, in the Chinese crossover, you can find the features of the Ford Prefect, which became the basis for the 1940 KIM-10-50. However, while Fuguchaojia has the status of a concept. It is not yet known whether the prototype will have a production version.

The novelty received round LED headlights, a large chrome grille, a panoramic roof and massive wheel arches.In the interior of the crossover, three displays were installed at once, wireless charging for a smartphone, a three-spoke steering wheel, round air vents, as well as unusual lighting.

All technical characteristics of the prototype are still kept secret. It is possible that the crossover will share the main components and assemblies with another brand model – Mocha. This car is available with a 2.0-liter 214-horsepower turbo petrol engine, working in conjunction with a 9-speed “robot” and an auxiliary 48-volt starter-generator.

The Ora company, which is part of the Great Wall concern, recently introduced a car called the Punk Cat. The exterior of the model is also made in retro style and is very similar to the classic Volkswagen Beetle (“Beetle”). The five-door car received a two-tone body, round headlights, lots of chrome parts, large lights and a sloping roof. The interior is equipped with a vintage steering wheel, retro-style seats, a digital instrument panel, and a large touchscreen multimedia system.
