BMW has unveiled the updated 3-Series sedan and station wagon. After restyling, the cars changed externally, and also received new options and changes in the cabin. The updated 3-Series was equipped with L-shaped running lights, new bumpers and a modified grille with vertical slats. Also, customers will be offered an M Sport package with additional chrome elements, as well as an M Sport Pro with darkened optics and M-brakes with red calipers.
In the interior of the car, a large display appeared, which combines a 12.3-inch dashboard and a multimedia system screen (14.9 inches). Instead of a traditional gearshift lever, the car has a small transmission control selector. Already in the database, the novelty is equipped with three-zone climate control.
All versions of the 3-Series are now exclusively available with an eight-speed automatic with paddle shifters. The engine range of the model has not changed. Customers will continue to be offered gasoline engines with a capacity of 156, 184, 252 and 340 horsepower.
Also, the novelty can be purchased with diesel units with a return of 150 to 340 horsepower. All engines work together with a 48-volt starter-generator. Also, the car has several full-fledged hybrid modifications.
The production of new items will be established in Munich and Mexico. In Germany, prices for the updated BMW 3-Series start at 43,900 euros. The first cars will be in dealerships this summer.
