Chinese BAIC showed a new crossover with multimedia from Huawei

The Chinese company BAIC, which at one time cloned the Gelendvagen, introduced a new crossover called Mofang. The car will be produced under the Beijing brand. According to Carnewschina , sales of the car in the local market will start in June. Prices for the car will start at $16,900. The top version of the model will cost $23,000.
Mofang is 4620mm long, 1886mm wide and 1680mm high. Wheelbase size – 2735 mm. The crossover was equipped with a 1.5-liter turbo engine with 188 hp. with a torque of 305 Nm. BAIC and Meta from Germany participated in the development of the engine. At the moment, this unit is among the 10 best motors in China.
Also, the novelty was equipped with the Huawei HarmonyOS media system based on the Taishan V120 Lite quad-core processor. The crossover also received a digital instrument panel and a large central display.
BAIC also plans to release a new frame SUV, which will be called the Beijing BJ607. The premiere of the car will take place in the next few months. One of the competitors of the novelty with three-row saloons will be the Haval H9. It is expected that the top versions of the all-wheel drive SUV will receive a hybrid power plant.
