Tata Motors has unveiled the Avinya concept car, which should give an idea of ​​the future electric cars of the Indian brand. The name of the car in Sanskrit means “innovation”.

The external features of the electric car are very short overhangs, a glass roof, as well as hinged rear doors that open against the direction of travel. In addition, the experimental car received narrow optics with LED T-shaped stripes on the front, forming a corporate logo. Plus, instead of traditional side mirrors, compact video cameras were installed, the image from which is broadcast on monitors in the cabin.

The interior of Tata Avinya is made in a minimalist style. For example, the car does not have a media system display – all information is displayed on a small digital dashboard built into the steering wheel hub.

About the technical part of the concept car, so far it is only known that it is equipped with a battery pack that allows you to drive up to 500 km without recharging. At the same time, using a special fast system, you can replenish their stock in just 30 minutes.

Earlier, Tata introduced the concept coupe-crossover Curvv, which resembles the Renault Arkana in its dimensions and proportions. The car is also equipped with an all-electric power plant. Tata expects that in a few years its model line will consist of about a quarter of electric cars.
