The American company Lucid Motors has introduced a new electric sedan Air Grand Touring Performance, which has become the most powerful car in the brand’s lineup. The novelty will replace the previous “senior” model Air Dream Edition Performance, which is currently sold out.
The big sedan was equipped with two electric motors, developing a total of 1065 horsepower, thanks to which the car can accelerate from standstill to 60 miles per hour in 2.6 seconds.
The engines are powered by a 900-volt battery with 113 kilowatt-hours, allowing you to drive up to 718 kilometers without recharging. When using a special fast system of 350 kilowatts, it is possible to replenish the stock of batteries from zero to 75% in about 20 minutes.
The Lucid Air Grand Touring Performance comes standard with a panoramic sunroof, a 34-inch 5K infotainment display, massage seats, and more than 30 different advanced electronic security systems.
In the US and Canada, sales of cars will begin this year. A luxury electric sedan will cost a minimum of $179,000.
