Lamborghini has unveiled the revived Countach sports car . The premiere of the novelty under the LPI 800-4 index was timed to coincide with the 50th anniversary of the cult model of the Italian brand. Public car debut took place at the auto show The Quail: A Motorsports Gathering in the US.

The novelty was built on the basis of the Sian hypercar and equipped with a hybrid power plant. It includes a 6.5-liter gasoline engine, an electric motor and a seven-speed robotic gearbox. The total power of the novelty is 814 horsepower.

Acceleration to a hundred takes just 2.8 seconds for the all-wheel drive Lamborghini Countach. The car can overcome the 200 km / h mark in 8.6 seconds. The maximum speed is 355 km per hour.

The novelty is based on a carbon fiber monocoque. The two-door received vertical headlights, a narrow radiator grille, a panoramic roof, as well as 20-inch five-spoke wheels at the front and 21-inch at the rear. Tires – Pirelli P Zero Corsa. In addition, the car is equipped with LED lights, consisting of three sections and air intakes in the style of the classic Countach.

The interior of the sports car has received leather trim in red and black. The car was equipped with a large touchscreen display and a new multimedia system. The weight of the car is 1595 kilograms.

The revived Lamborghini Countach will be released in a limited edition of 112 copies. Customers will start receiving the first sports cars in the first quarter of next year.

Earlier it became known that by the end of 2024 all Lamborghini models will receive electrified power plants as part of a plan to reduce harmful emissions. More than EUR 1.5 billion will be invested in the implementation of the new program. Part of the funds will go to the development of technologies for the use of composite materials in construction in order to reduce the weight of machines, and other money will be spent on the development of units with combined traction.
